My group is working on a project of a tornado that happened in Bangladesh. On May 13, 1996, a tornado hit Bangladesh killing more than 700 people and injured at least 33,000 in a 20 minute outburst of the tornado. The tornado was going at least 125 miles per hour. Here are some graphs. This is a graph showing how many people died in different tornadoes. The tornado that I researched was the one on May 13, 1996 where 700 people were killed. The other tornadoes I researched were to compare the one I researched. The tornado that killed the most people was on April 26, 1989 which 1300 people died. This graph is only on the deaths from the tornadoes. This is a graph showing how many people were injured from different tornadoes. As you see a lot of the dates were relevant which injured a lot of people together. The May 13, 1996 tornado that I had injured the most which left 35,000 people injured. The tornado that inured the least was on April 7, 1888. This graph is showing only the injuries due to the tornadoes in Bangladesh. This is a graph showing how many houses were destroyed by the tornadoes in Bangladesh. As you can see the only years that the houses were destroyed were in 1989 and in 1997. The year that destroyed the most houses was in 1989 which left 80,000 houses destroyed and left people homeless no where to sleep only on the ground. This graph is only on houses that were destroyed in Bangladesh. |
